Californian punk rockers Rancid have announced a Belfast show in Mandela Hall with Runnin Riot & Dubtones this November 28th! To date, Rancid have released seven studio albums and have independently sold over four million records worldwide, making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves , which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals ", "Ruby Soho " and "Time Bomb ", and was certified gold and platinum. Rancid will release their eight studio album later this year.
Legendary guitarist, producer and record label owner Tim Anderson formed Rancid after the break up of Operation Ivy and has since played with Travis Barker of Blink 182 fame with The Transplants, releasing two critically acclaimed albums and recently reforming to work on a third.
